that's some serious sleeper status. anyone would think its just an h22 with some headers and an intake. great job.

Guessing an SMSP since KING distributes them. I wouldn't be surprsed if it was some crazy "One-Off" that Scott had someone make. I can't really see the SMSP stamp on the flange.

It is not a SMSP. It is a custom header.

Did you guys make it or does Scott have a guy that makes them? Something to give an SMSP/DTR/HyTech a run for its money? I'm interested....

You had better have a nice chunk change laying around.

So, far I'm up to 1G in stainless materials (burnsstainless) and I designed the d**n thing myself. Fabriaction is probably another G then you got to test.

But, custom headers will help to extract the most out of any set-up.

Hmmm.....I wonder what an SMSP or HyTech Spec2 wouldve done for this.

We made this header ourselves custom for this application, although it would work on most h22's, we are not in the header building business for profit it was just to full-fill a customers needs while we are building a motor and complete setup for him.

Probably well. I don't think they would inhibit the motor. But I would not think they could beat a custom job.

I'm not sure what you set-up is but I would try to get everything else lined up 1st. Like head work (flow numbers), bottom end, cams, etc. before I would persue a custom header or even a SMS or Hy-tech.

There are several places where you could get a custom design done. Plus a custom set-up requires several iterations of dyno testing before it is final.
