Awesome #'s guys!
I bet the people that have blown $3-4k on a stroker crank are cringing! OEM Honda cranks FTW! I guess I'll be the one to add that this Dyno reads fairly average too. My friends i/h/e H22 made high 170's there and I have made low 190's with cams. I also have to say with some Intake Manifold/TB testing....theres some more in there......Maybe some ITBs? This build pretty much just embarassed what others have done...... KING Modified by ::NirVTEC:: at 11:29 AM 1/28/2008

it makes great power but the only "untypical" power adder were the Pro3's. I mean we have all seen what pro2's can do with some compression. You should expect that kind of graph with the pro3's, especially with race gas where you can really tweak the motor.
great build tho. I'm sure it will run great at the track and im interested in those results when you get them.

Thank you it is nice to see someone will back up that our dyno doesn't read high! It is all about compression when you have decent size cams. Modified by BearsEK-KMSU at 11:47 AM 2/22/2008 |

KING is as good as it gets when it comes to builds.....their tuning appears to be catching up very quick(As they are newer to the Dyno world) This is just more proof that KING isn't just a name.....its a way of life! The best part of this IMO: This car will actually be raced!!! And not some BS 1320'ing either! Nothing(about REAL engine quality) is proven in a straight line that lasts 8-12sec......

Nice dyno, thanks for sharing! Could I suggest posting this in the H22 dyno thread here and/or in the Prelude dyno thread? I'd also be interested in any further details on the setup; it definitely put down good numbers.

A motor has to be built very well to survive a full season or races, test and tunes, dyno sessions , etc. Not knocking other venues but you cant say drag racing doesnt test a motor

It becomes a comparison between "It made it through a run" to "It lasted for a 4 hour Enduro" Dragging is fun....but a waste for an engine like this! for the RR'ing Wizards in Cheese-Land USA!!!

How can you say it would be a "waste" if it were used for drag racing? If the owner spent his hard earned money building the motor for Road racing then I would say he did a great job.
But if he built it for drag then your saying its a waste? If he built it for drag then he spent his own money on doing so. My h build will soon be complete and is very similar to this build, but mine is for drag. So in your eyes the thousands of dollars I have worked hard for to build the motor- was basically wasted? We all have our likes and dislikes but to say things like that is an absolute close minded perception. Sorry to Hi-jack the thread- Again - SICK Build - for whatever its intentions are. .

to each his own.....add up your $/sec and compare to my $/hour.......I am getting more out of my money. Thats my point. We don't want this to turn into another RR vs Drag debate...... What series was this engine built for? I have to assume some kind of Unlimited SCCA club racing. I can't think of anything that allows block sleeving other than that.
