Tokyo, Seeker, Spoon, etc ....sorry
Thought I'd share some more snaps of the land of the rising sun with you. It was my second visit, the first is on here somewhere, when I did all the Honda tuners and a track day at fuji. This time I went for the auto salon, find a few more honda tuners, see some places of tokyo I didnt see the last time and go up a snow capped Mount fuji.
Had a fabulous time, my trusty 3.2mp Cypershot didnt let me down, although I walked the girlfriend to death. I wont bore you with many autosalon pics as theres many o here already. I'll try and give you as many shots of tokyo as possible, but I'm routing through over 2000images
I'll start with the Honda tuner day. Glorious sunshine but totally freezing. Started at the opposite end of kampachi dori and planned to do seeker, Type One, quick snap of spoon, K-shift and Feels. All went well till K-shift, had a feeling it was gone and it was, and after 2hours of more walking realised the Feels Honda twin cam I visited the last time, has moved shop!
But here are the pics, well, the start
I went ino the shop through the front, I could hear a loud idle but thought nothing of it. After a look around and some pics I picked up a few trinkets(oil cap, rad cap, t-shirt) and saw they had a few issues of the vtec-club dvds I needed so stuck one of them on the pile. Both the seeker guy(one from hot version dvds who always represents seeker when their cars are used) and another guy sitting on the customer side of the counter started s[racial pejorative]ing. He informed me that the dvds were theirs for shop viewing. I felt like a bit of a plum!! It made it worse when I realised the other guy was their engine builder from K-tech!!
His demo was outside, all alone, idling away while he had a cigerette inside!
After that it was off to Type One

Re: (American.Graffiti)
Thank's for sharing. I have alway's wanted to see inside of Seeker.
Can't wait to see the pics from FEEL:'s and K-Tech.
Now if someone can stop by Tracey Sport's and Juppo that would complete the list of shops I wanna see.

As I said at the start mate, the Feels branch close by was closed down, for pics of it you will have to find my original japan thread.

K-tech was limited to the demo and the engin builder. Although it must be close by. K-tech is just a small industrial unit. Its featured on VTEC-CLUB dvd vol 5.

Re: Tokyo, Seeker, Spoon, etc ....sorry (Geordie)
The FD2 that was on the ground floor when I arrived was a customer car. Don't know why it was a type one so soon, coz it was brand spanking new. The owner is upstairs on some of my pics, with a mate. He looked very young. And the car was already modified, bride seats, harness, spoon wheel and suspension. It was pulled outside for him to collect and later drove past us as we walked away.
Notice the type one seat cover

Next pics are from the mount fuji and hakone day trip. Coz the day was so clear you could see fuji san all the way along the expressway. We were very lucky with the weather. Only a few days before it was only open to 1st station, we went up to 4th station (out of 5). You cant see much of it when on it but if you turn round the views of the jdm alps were spectacular.
