hmm wondering why you painted the tranny and block black... i kinda like silver... but its not my car. lol. nice setup and list of goodies you have there though.

I really like the black, it's a nice contrast... Anyways, looks really nice, you don't mess around!

Looks like a good setup. My few criticisms of the setup are as follows:

1. The blockguard was an unnecessary addition as it wont prevent the sleeves from cracking. People think of it as a "saving grace" but in reality, it will only make you sleep easier at night.
2. The compression is a bit low for my tastes. I know that on my setup, i'm staying as close to stock compression as possible. My plan as of now is to run a 9.8:1 compression, but i'm still shooting for over 400whp.
3. After putting all this money into a nice engine build, you're still running a manifold that could break at a moment's notice. I would not run one on my car, but i hope you are one of the lucky ones.

if u read my plans you would see that im not sticking with that junker lol i cannot decide between a ramhorn or a topmount at the moment. stock compression for my motor is 9:1 and after months of reading a talking to tuners i found that 8:5:1 is a more logical choice for my plans. as for the blockguard.... everyone has there own thoughts on that lol thanks for the feed back guys

I'll add to this:
I hope you installed it perfectly even and welded it in numerous locations - pre-machining.
If its not seated correctly, it can cause uneven distortion and serious sealing issues. I have personal experience with this.

Block guards cause more harm than good.

Looks good. I would ditch the manifold or if you plan on using it make sure to route the exhaust gases coming from the wastegate away from the compressor inlet.

I personally like the choice of color. Silver does look nice, but the contrast of black and red is always a good combo. Nice build.
