The PAR box is just as good as any box out there. They for some reason thought the stock final drive would be ok. But, I'm working on getting one.

Then that would make it not as good as a ppg set if it comes with a stock final. Obviously it is a weak link and it hasnt been addressed by par. How much is the par box? I might have missed it here somewhere.

this is NOT a PAR box. This bog box was designed and put out on the market by
Go Power Motorsports. To this date, there has not been 1 final drive or pinion gear failure
on any of the 5 cars that have been running this box. Javier has a lot of passes and dyno time with this without failure, and We have over 10 passes and over 30 dyno pulls on out
All Motor car.

I've been using the same one the whole time and so far it's been working good for me,All I did was purchase a new one from a local Acura dealer but nothing special has been done to it but thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for your input but I guess time will tell but for now the OEM works great! for me.

One thing you might want to practice when you pull the chute....don't let off of the gas until you initially feel the pull because if you get a good cross wind...it could flip the car sideways.

This happened to us at Phoenix, AZ during NOPI in 2006. We tapped the wall at the end of the track because we just let off of the throttle and pullled the chute....instead of "throttling into the chute" before letting off the pedal.
