We are running the dog box within the next week and will let everyone know the results. The CRX was out this weekend and got 5 passes before breaking the stock tranny.

yes. We are finalizing the testing now.

When these are released, people will be changing from B to K for a SPFWD car.

We will post some pictures in the coming days.

Check this place out.

They have a PPG 1-4 Straight Cut gears. Synchro Engagement that people can afford that just dont have a dog box in their budget runs around $3,200-$3,500 I have ran these gears in my car with no problem 800+hp dyno pulls and many 1/4 mile runs.

Are you running the dog engagement gears now ? or still syncro?

why run syncro set when you have a full blown race car?

When we post our set up you will see a big difference. And by the way. the Dog Box they have now, looks like ours that we made with the cuff and all.... humm

you decide.

We have the PPG/Bullhead syncro set that was sent to us for testing. In which it was worked very well with 850hp. Now its time for the PPG/Bullhead 1-4 Dog Box. From the research that I've done PPG gears and rounded off at the end of the teeth for a reason. Over time the flat top teeth will start wearing out. That is the reason we choose the PPG gears. Smoother engagement as well.

The cuff is nothing new...Its a solution to an obvious flaw in the trans design...

I don't understand the sarcasm here, we have never said anything about your product, and PPG's product is anything but a copy of your design.... lets all just be civilized and let the products and their performance speak for themselves

Guy Chamberlin from CPL was just here at my place and brought along their k series gear set and it looks very promising. Very well built, along with alot of attention to detail.

I think they are going to be a player in the k series transmission game.
