Wheels are ugly period. Both the real ones and the knockoffs....

And to join the Rota/Real discussion.. some people have money to build their car with baller stuff and may hold their car at a higher priority in life, others just want a car to go out to the track/play/learn on and have building their car as a lower priority. Whatever floats your boat...

I think they're F'ING gay coming from a guy who actually owns the real thing. I ditched my TE37's, RNR's only because Rota made them and I was sick of people asking me if my shit were Rota's.

Here's are the blue ones look on my hatch.

If they came in Silver with a Blue lip... I'd be more interested, lol.

Those are my favorite colors, so I'm always a little partial. Plus, the Black/Red combo doesn't really look good to me.

I like the style of them too because I usually tend to lean more towards wheels with low spoke counts on them.

As far as the replica thing goes... I don't care if they're replicas. I'll admit I'm on a limited budget and I WILL buy replicas if I have to. I will ALSO admit that I'm on a beer budget with a wine taste... Soooooo, if I'm broke and want wine, I'll sure as hell settle for beer if I have to. Alcoholics aren't really picky, ya know? LOL.

i dont know why people knock on rotas neways. they look just like originals and half the price plus they have to be a good wheel or noone would by them. i know ive ownedmy fair share of rotas so i can vouch but you dont need to hate just becasue you can afford the real deal where others cant. thats what i say.

Always liked that design, and I won't bitch about ROTA replicating them. Plus, ROTA's quality is beyond its cost, and its round and rolls just like the "real" ones.

ROTA proved it's quality by getting an ISO9001 certification. Something that those delicate expensive wheels that most of you critics drool about doesn't have.

They look like Rotas, they are a replica of the original Super Advans, the 3 spoke design that came out in the 90's. They are discontinued and often come in black center with either a red or blue lip. The originals are hard to come by. Now the SAV2's is still in production to this day. But to some of the wheel dealers that carry Advans. Both have told me you have to place an order for them, then the dealer sends an order to the factory. They usually take a few months to get here. I don't think allot of dealers carry the SAV2's in stock. They are a really expensive wheel.

I do love my SAV2's though =]

You do realize that rota makes rims for things besides honda right? In once case I know they are making rims for a certain car that are a replica because the original ones have been made in 20 years and they are just very hard and very expensive to come by, also these specific rims I am talking about didn't come in 17" which is what rota is making them in.

I wouldn't knock rota. They are a company producing something that people want.

always was a fan of the original advans, and always wanted a set, but money is tight and not to mention they are hard to find also. i guess i can get my hands on a set now.

p.s. can't seem to find them anywhere but that one seller on ebay that has them.

I think they are ugly as shit, but i still love mine. havent ran into anyone in my area with these wheels. unique

those are some pretty good replicas. without the centercaps i dont think id be able to tell the differnce

any links to were i can buy these? ive always wanted to do a full polish on mine but couldnt justify ruining a discontinued set of wheels.
