It'd be awesome if an Admin could put a link to this in the FAQ section if possible, I could never find a definitive write-up on how to do a 96-00 head onto 92-95 block minime swap like I did.

"there is no real way to find out if the valve seals are toast, or if the valves are bent unless the head is ON the block."
who told you this??? not true at all...

I brought my new head to a shop to get redone, and he showed me 2 bent valves, and I couldn't see that they were bent, but the machine he used did. Also I do not know how you'd compression test a head without it being on a motor, I'm just saying its best to have it all re-done anyways if you are doing a mini-me swap. |

upon checking my CEL codes last night I only had a code for the IACV so I wired Vtec and my 4 wire O2 right, I'll try to get a write-up for the O2 as well as I haven't found a detailed one with pictures on how to convert 1 to 4 as I did. |

I just did the same exact swap on my car. I'm curious to see what you find when you use an OEM manifold...

Same difference. I'm curious if you'll find or have the same issues I did when I put it all back together.

Throw away that light crank,
they willl mess up your car, the weight related to the crank will be off and i hear it can cause your motors life to diminish faster if reved over 6k with one

which crank pulley is that?????? oem or aftermarket? you'll be fine with a light weight pulley, you will lose a lil valuable torque, gain a lil hp.might want to think about what im doing is putting 2 and 2 together lighten the crank pulley, and the same on th otherside-the flywheel!take weight off both sides and try to even it out! and for me to make up the torque i have a jrsc awaiting
good job!
