Interesting this thread popped up as a different version, just wanted to make sure the INNER tie rods need to be cut when doing an sir swap?

the outers were mentioned being cut above, just wanted to make sure....

Oh also, I can get bearing and balljoint replacements from the 89-91 no abs integras, right?

I drive a 90 crx si, I have a set of Ex knuckles, 92+ legend callipers, 4x100-11" re-drilled rotors! will this setup give me a good big brake kit & will it work on my car? I have not installed yet. Do I have the right suff? Thanks.....

That is the setup I run on my track car, and several other CRX's that we have on track. There is no issue and no better bang for the buck.

You can use the legend clipers and rotors to run 11.1" with a bit of work, rather than stock 10.2 integra sized rotors.... along with the caliper being bigger, therefore taking more heat.

A side note, do any of you da knuckle guys run really low? - 1" or more tire tucked - Do you smack you shock towers?

I think it's going to be ok with good ajust-struts, if you have stock oem ones your a arms would hit like 24-7! And it would only be right, the lower your car rides the greater your risk your gonna run into problems!

Hi guys! keep your DX/Si steering knuckle and use any caliper stamped (16CL16VN) or (17CL16VN) will work too on 9.5" knuckle, this is from S2000 (2003 up), RSX or TSX very easy to install and don't bother to redrill you rotor, use the VW Corrado G60 11" 4X100 with center ring.

You can keep your 15" wheel with this brake setup...and the best part you keep you knuckle.

Do you know if these work on 15" Enkei RPF1s? Also, what master cylinder or prop valve changes are needed for this?

I changed my prop valves (because of my DA rear disk swap) and my master cylinder for a Prelude 88 15/16 for better pressure. I don't know if this setup will fit Enkei RPF1s but i have 15" Rota Slipstream and it's ok! (see pic).

The caliper of the S2k have one piston (but if it's ok for a S2k it's probably ok for my CRX
It's all the same 16CL16VN S2k or not...I realy love the Lego compatibility of Honda/Acura parts...

For the center ring i know you can buy from many good tire store, i have to do some search to give you the exact size (probably 57.1 to 58.1).

I post the size of the center ring soon

Thx

Dano

Wow, that is very interesting that works with DX knuckles. Was there any milling of the caliper brackets when using the S2000 calipers?

you know the factory specs are 0 camber 0 toe.

i want specs from a good aligned car before and after
