Mechanicsburg ehh. I sat in a Mechanicsburg fire department for freakin three days once. I lived at Carlisle Station 40 and there was this big ass fire up in the mountains. We covered a huge area for three days, and I got stuck in Mechanicsburg....lol.

well thanks for coming and helping out with whatever might have happened. those crazies in the mountains can do some wild things. yeah and mechanicsburg carlisle area is kind of weak but it has its indearing qualities...ha! you guys still planning on coming for the carlisle show? Hey and my girl and i are coming to the city march 9th i think i have spring break and i need some time in the steel city again, she went to cmu so i spent the better part of 4 yrs there!

Well, we're comin to the end. I'm gonna call monday and check this situation out. If I don't get a confirmation from them, I'm moving the location to somewhere that I can confirm a date....that's all there is to it. I need a set date, and a set time to solidify this deal.

Also....today is a big day for me as well. I'll be looking at my new 3500sq ft shop hopefully and finally getting out of my garage. Manifold fab, turbo installs, swaps, ecu chipping, street tuning, header fabrication....just doesn't all fit anymore. I find out this afternoon what the verdict is...if my app. went through, then I'll have capacity for 7 or more cars at once.

Waiting for a call-back. This guy just isn't really too interest in what I have to get accomplished. He said he's gonna speak with the event coordinator and call me back next week. I've decided that, just for the benefit of getting this rolling, that I'd get hold of these county airport people and see what the story is with that lot.

It may in the end save everyone cash, and be in a suburb close to pittsburgh, versus everyone having to figure their way down to the stadiums, which honestly is kind of confusing if your not familiar.

Both options are on the table, but I'm just gonna cover the back up plan in case.

Yeah, I got updates, but not ones that people are gonna like, well maybe not.

Apparently, due to general "hanging out" that occurs at the parking lots on the weekends, there is a problem. A certain crew of Honda guys hang out down there, and there was an attempted lawsuit. The lawsuit was the result of an individual wrecking on a street bike.

Long story short, is they are still willing to lease the parking lot for the original quoted price (1500.00), but now they want proof of liability coverage that either I pay them or carry myself.

So, the deal is....I'm not gonna extend myself financially that far. So, the location is getting changed.

I'm contacting the county to get approval for the Allegheny County Airport lot. It's easier to get to, more suburban, more convenient, so there's upsides to it. I'm gonna contact them and confirm a date this week and we're gonna solidify this deal.
