Alright, I'm taking the helm on this deal. I've talked with several people and to get the ball rolling I've decided to coordinate this event. The Pittsburgh area is plagued with alot of seperation among enthusiasts and that needs to change. Therefore I welcome all to the:

For anyone not from this area, or not familiar with Quaker Steak and Lube, Quaker Steak is a Motorsports themed restaurant. The food is pretty good....the menu is below.

I personally know of 60+ cars locally that ARE NOT ON THIS LIST BUT ARE COMING.

Just wanted to get some basics posted!!!

#1....7.00 to get in gets you the window sticker, the map for the cruise afterwards, and your raffle ticket. Please be considerate and don't try to sneak in, or play some games...it's 7 bucks here cmon. If your a passenger in a car and want a raffle chance, you can pay 7.00 yourself and get a ticket.

#2....Help out my money collector and try to have exact change. We'll try to have plenty of 1's, but you never know.

#3....No burnouts, ricer fly-in's, and acting like maniacs. Let's get parked and organized.

#4....Go to the entrance area ONLY...this is where you pay, and get the stuff you need. Quaker steak is on the end, Best Buy is in the parking lot to the left seperated by grass you DON'T go there...there shouldn't be much confusion...this is pretty straightforward.

#5....Once you pay, just follow the staff to be directed to your parking space. The lot can hold 230+ if it's organized.

#6....If you intend to go on the cruise afterwards to "crash" the V8 meet, make sure you have gas in your car when you ARRIVE at the meet. This way you won't need to stop when we leave, and get left behind.

#7....If you can, bring hot chics cause otherwise this'll be a sausage fest....

Yea Pittspeed we'll pick up a bunch of interest I have a few other forums I'll post the info on. If you get some flyers made up or something I'll run around to all the Auto places in beaver county and talk to them about it.

Yeah, I was expecting a return call from the parking lot and events manager of Heinz Field today, but no call. She's always away from her desk, but I imagine I'll speak with her shortly. She just wanted to get back to be to be sure there are no conflicts for the potential dates.

I don't mind Pittspeed being made aware of it, but I don't want the Pittspeed drama that is common. If there are some import guys or H-T members there, that just frequent Honda Tech that's fine. I'd just really like to keep the core of this meet for imports...primarily Honda. I've thought of designating some parking at the meet for non-Honda's for that purpose though. I just don't want drama with any v8 haters and all that shit.

There are no big Honda-Tech meets around, and that was my true motivation. The date is coming soon, like I said, just gotta wait for this girl to get back to me.

Yep....the more the word gets out, the more people that'll be ready to show up when the time comes. I just want this to be the biggest collection of Honda's and enthusiasts the Pittsburgh area has seen. It's events like these that motivate new enthusiasts to start building and get ready for the next one...something this area needs.

No call yet from the girl at Heinz Field, but I'm calling her again right now.

Edit: Parking lots owned by Alco, got transferred to another guy that deals with it. He's checking the event calander/insurance issues, then getting back to me within a couple days. So, we're gettin there

I'm workin my ass off getting these people to call me back! Still haven't gotten a sure date from Alco yet cause the event coordinator for Heinz hasn't called me back....I'll get there eventually...lol.
