I think it should be stickied, Its a summary of EVERY possibly "What has X engine" Question.
Now if you throw on the appropriate ECU #'s linked to each engine this would be a fantastic source of information. (And I'd be very impressed) |

After seeing the list I have... no, I don't think it should be a sticky.
This information in this thread is unorganized and some codes are repeated several times. It also mostly consists of lists you can easily find elsewhere and mostly common motors. There isn't anything incredibly interesting here. I'll try to get my list up soon so people can start submitting any corrections they might see. In fact, here is an old version of mine. Why did the '94-'97 accords magically get a JDM engine??
And the F22B1 is a SOHC VTEC motor, not a DOHC Non-VTEC Motor. Fixed typos = thx..it's added for now...until a better one comes along.

No, I know my motor is rare. I found this thread hoping to shed some light onto my motor but yet again, I came up with nothing. There is no code in the list that is "D16A" All off the D16A has a number after it, mine is JDM and it has a plain D16A stamp. No numbers. And all the D16A in his list is non-VTEC motor, mine is a SOHC VTEC. I been trying to figure out for years now what car this motor came off of. Can someone help?
