Default Re: Epic Tuning's 400HP D16Z6 powered Real Time 4WD EF hatch.

The internals of the CRV tranny are no different than the internals of the Wagon tranny. 100% of the crankshaft torque goes to the driveshaft flange on the transfer case if there's no front driveshafts in the car, and it's 50/50 otherwise. The torque distribution is managed in the rear diff on the CRV.

Braille Auto drifted a RWD Integra using the CRV drivetrain. The only parts they broke were rear axles. They welded up the rear diff so there was no spider gear action, and no torque distribution shenanigans. The motor was a supercharged B20Vtec.

anyone now anything about this sh-awd? What motor series is it mated with and is there anything to it, if you know the specs let me know(weight/power)? Im going to be putting alot of cash into my project and need to keep the motor honda. Im trying to convert it to rwd or awd. Ide like to either use a b or k series motor. Ive been flirting with the idea of making the crx mid engine but would much rather prefer awd.

And before anyone asks why I wouldnt just buy a awd like a Subaru or evo, I am an eccentric honda lover and consider the idea of buying another manufacturer sac-religious. Sorry for kinda hijacking the thread.
