Default Divided Collector other than a Topmount Manifold?

Has anybody made a manifold other than a topmount w/ a divided collector? Just an idea....

We see them everywhere on different types of topmounts, but why not other designs? Are they only effective on a topmount?

Any info would be appreciated!

Jesse and Andy @ AFI made several a few months ago.... and they were divided

That bandwagon has already been started.

Heres the start of my personal divided bottom mount. It'll be able to fit in a CRX chassis, and will be fully polished.

I had one about three years ago made by lovefab. used a GT37 with divided housing 1.12 ar it ran great but had some issues with the car only clean time was a 1/8 mile pass witha 6.8 at 107mph. here are some pics of it.

Hrmm...I wonder if that GT37 divided T3 housing could be adapted to the GT30 turbine. I was going to go with the ATP divided housing, but it's only a .78ar. I want a huge A/R to really take advantage of the divided manifold.

Do you guys know how much easier it would be to make a divided bottom mount if you actually used that space you still have between your hood and manifold? You can have that manifold sticking up much further than you might think before it comes too close where engine movement will make it hit, or that 1/2" of insulation wouldn't be enough.

lol. Depends which chassis your talking about. I defintly can't go all that high with my CRX before the runners start melting things, or the turbo gets so low the oil drain fittings start hitting the ground

I'm sorry if none of this makes sense. I'm pretty wasted right now...lol.

if im not mistaken the gt35/37 only come in divided t4, the biggest divided t3 footprint is the 3076.

Nope. you can get the 37 with a large divided T3. It's on garretts website, and you can tell from just looking at the flange of pics posted.

Boostwerks is right I have a T3 housing that is 1.12 ar and now I just purchased a diffrent T4 housing at .86 ar that is not divided since I will be working on something new I dind't need the divided housing.

as for the GT37 housing fitting on a GT30 not to sure if that would work...it can only be mounted in 90 degree incraments and has 4 bolts that hold it to the center cartridge. if i can get a picture I'll through it up.

Thanks! Heres pics of the almost finished manifold. You'll notice it's somewhat like the AFI version, but my flange position is different and allows the manifold too fit into a CRX/EF chassis.
