4x114.3 conversion parts list - brake tech thread
Ok, i have found out there are more than a few threads dealing with this topic. There are tons of older topics, but there are many people new that have this conversion, and some new light shed on this topic will be helpful for discussion.
as for a parts list, i do not have anything composed yet, but i did find out that you can use the new honda hybrid civic.
I will compose a list of detailed brake replacement and upgrade info for the board thanx to old postings from Koala Yummies and others on the topic, who have worked months on methods to getting better brakes and such to work with this setup.
Here goes...
here is the origional documented thread by Yummies https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=514109
another thread, where his methods https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=504424
in these threads, these facts came:
and the difference:
Lets shed as much light as we can on both all of the parts youll need, brakes, and any specialty parts made.
we can make this a faq if the participation and information flow.

It has had the most useful information.
For the brake conversion what I know works and doesnt work:
Integra 94-97 Pads work front and back. Tried it.
The Prelude NON-VTEC rotors 91+ (which someone told me work) work as long as you space the caliper on the braket and use Grade-8 bolts.
From what I have heard:
The new Civic Hybrid Electric car the Hubs 4X114.3 will fit into the Integra GSR Hub Bearings.
SO PADS, HUBS AND BEARINGS ARE ALL REPLACEABLE. WHAT ABOUT THE ROTORS!?!?!?!?!?!
My front rotors are dying and was wondering what all the guys with the 96 ITR brake conversion have done, because your rotors will give up eventually.

Thanks go to Jeff and his crew chief Rich!!!
I'm going to press the old bearing out, new bearing in, and hub in - all tomorrow. Will post one more time to let everyone know the results.

We're taking the car this Friday to the Hybrid Track Day 5 up in Buttonwillow so it should be more than enough stopping power for the H22 in there

I'll try and dig up as many of those photos, diagrams and whatnot that are no longer hosted from those threads. Any other information I come across I will post up and pass along. Its been several hard-drive formats since I had the 4x114.3 though

Re: (KOALA YUMMIES)
i had the set up too.
for parts just look for anything from a 92-96 prelude.
the VTEC model had the bigest brakes, 11.1" rotor (same as the 5 lug ITR) the caliper is also the same from the VTEC model prelude to the ITR. I ran this setup, and to fit the OEM 4x114.3 ITR wheels you need to do some grinding, for the gabs i ran i also had to do some grinding
If you want to stick with the 10.2 inch brakes i would go for the prelude SI parts. this is the prelude that came with the h23a motor.
Of course, if you have an interga, or civic with the 10.2 inch brakes you can simple swap out the hub, caliper, and rotor. And you have your self the 96 ITR setup

Very good info everyone...I remember staying up late nights back in the day toggling back and forth from the different threads on this subject...
For clarification from what slammed_93_hatch said above...Could you simply use GSR front Knuckles w/ pressed in HYBRID Civic hubs to get 4x114.3 up front?
What rear 4x114.3 bearing set would you use to match the fronts?

Re: (ozrednsx)
I've had my 4x114 setup for a while now.
I have upgraded 11" front rotors and ITR calipers.
My buddy hooked me up with this setup and the rotors were STRAIGHT BOLT ON along with the caliper. no spacers, etc needed.
However, he never told me what rotors they were...
after doing some searching, i found ('93-'97) 1st generation Nissan altima rotors are 11.08". The rotor size is 280mmx22mm.
I think i'll be the guinea pig and buy a rotor or two from autozone unless someone has something else to say
