Default What motor is this? PM3-8 /D15B

OK. I need some help identifing a motor I just bought.
I thought I was picking up a A6 but once I cleaned it up. The block says D15B
and the head has a block off plate on the back of the head. Where it looks like you can put a vtec soiloind.
The stamp on the head is PM3-8.

I'll get pics up as soon as i get a chance.

not dual point is it?
If spot was for vtec sol. It's the infamous d15 vtec.
1.5 vtec made 125-130 hp with more torque then a z6 at same hp.
or so i have heard..

it's multi-point. I was told it came out of a CRX. Plate on the back of the head is whats throwing me off, of to what this is.

So a PM3-8 = D15B head?

correct me if im wrong the only other d15's were the d15 dual point ( 72hp )
d15b2 dual pint ( 92hp )

uploading pics. One thing I noticed last night is that on the cam , theres a "lobe" on the end closest to the dizzy. That I didn't see on my freinds A6 head.

D15B VTEC engines have the spark plugs on the front side, not on the back

yeah, that is a 100hp dual carb D15B with MPFI manifold on it - the extra lobe ran the mechanical fuel pump
