Most definatly, or if you ran over the alt distroying a wheel or something worse!

A stock rad WILL fit, at least with my bracket .

Here are my top hose angles, I'm going to cut up the stock one to see If i can fit it without bending, if not, I'll be making a trip to the auto-parts store with my bent piece of solder.

The rear hose I can probably get away with a 45 and a short nipple or something.

And my hood waiting for surgery.

Hokay, so I measured the distance from my pedal to my TB with a piece of wire, and it comes to roughly 31". I measure the length of my Integra throttle cable, and it comes to 39". Great.

Anyone happen to know the lengths of some other honda throttle cables?

I used a da throttle cable worked perfect. You might just have to move the mounting bracket if that makes sense.

I can't seem to figure this out, I myself pulled a throttle cable right out of a 91 integra, and this is where it end up pulled taught. I could put the bracket right there, but the cable will rub on the top of the iacv.

Your problem is in the bracket for the cable.experiment with it. Try putting it on backwards

You can see that picture right? When I pull the cable taught, that is where the holding point for the cable ends up. If I put the cable bracket in any position closer than this, I have slack in the cable. If I try any of the stock holes in the intake mani, I have like 6" too much slack on the TB side.

that cable worked for me cause my TB has many mounting points... you should maybe try to get a 90-93 accord cable, might fit better

Does the throttle cable wrap "under" the t-body throttle wheel? That should get rid of the slack.

Ok, lets try this again. The following pictures are of the cable secured into the pedal, and onto the firewall grommet. This is the farthest away I can mount the cable bracket, using the oem holes in the intake mani and the bracket.

Edit - If I install it in reverse order, as in TB, then bracket as far away as possible using oem holes, firewall, and THEN pedal, the cable extends past the pedal by 4".

You know now that I think of it I used a civic/crx si cable. Look at this pic. Thos two holes(one of which has a bolt in it) is where the bracket would mount up.
Just like on the h, the bracket is close to the throttle body

This is my upper rad hose. It is just two 90 deg bends clamped to a piece of pipe. And i think that i aslo used a civic si throttle cable.

Alright, this Is what I ended up doing with my throttle cable. I wrapped it under the wheel past the correct location, to the second hole for the kickdown cable from the old auto tranny. It's kind of funny that I think this looks right haggard, yet I had no problem cutting a large pocket out of my frame rail.

I managed to get some more of my dash together, mainly my gsr cluster back in. I have a 2000 SI center console already fitted, I just have to find a way of mounting it to the floor.

My front cross-member didn't clear the front of the engine where the old front mount went.

Also hoping to finish my batter relocation before the weekend is over.

And finally, my rad hoses. This is with a full size stock civic rad, with the full size stock fan. If i had a slim-fan or even a push fan on the front, I wouldn't be doing that many angles, but whatever, $14 in hose is better than a whole new fan when mine already works. I ran out of hose clamps, so that's why a couple are missing

And the rear

More Updates

Finished my battery relocation, just have to vent the bastard and secure the batt inside the box. I tested it by putting my key in the ignition and successfully retrieving a Municipal Waste CD that had been stuck in my cd player for about 6 months.

Got all my hose-clamps on, got a clutch cable bracket on and adjusted it all up. Also bled my brakes, and got my axles in, so it's almost ready to go back on the ground.

Here is the spot underneath the lower control arms where I had to clean out to make room for the bolt. I'll have to mount the bar underneath, to make room for my crank pulley.

My late night motivation

Great progress. It's already apparent that this car is purpose and not show build (at least yet) which gets a big from me.

keep it up!

Thanks boss

I doubt I'll be winning any shows anytime soon with a flat black DIY cowl hood . Right now it'll just be my monster of a DD, which is all I've really wanted from it.

Hoping to get my ECU back and start this bitch monday or tuesday.

why dont you make a bracket to extend the cable instead of rapping it around the throttle .... bc that might get stuck/ it might not

just my .02

but its coming along nicely! what are you doing with the hood just a little bump where the whole is.

I may do that in the future, but it does actually move quite freely. If I'm going to have any problems, they'll probably show up right away.

I STILL can't decide what I'm going to do with the hood. I'm still stuck between a bump or a cowl dealy. Currently I'm leaning towards a fiberglass bump.

I used a mini-grinder for the first one, and it turned out really slutty, so I did the second with a dremmel and it turned out much nicer. You're going to have to loosen the nut on the front of the x-member to get an extra 1/2" to line the holes up. I'll get some pikcha's.

You're going to need longer bolts. Also, you should try and thread them from the bottom first to clean out the bottom threads before you go to line everything up, it made everything a lot easier.

Loosen up the front first to give yourself some room to play.

Honestly that hood looks pretty good like that. But I wouldn't go with a bubble and look like the DSM boys.

Make a cowl that has a c curve in it that blows back over you exhaust header to keep temps down.

Someone really needs to solve the hood problem. I am going to pick up a crx in a couple weeks and might be doing something similiar.

keep up the good work.
