I just picked up these today for a great price.

Now I'm one step closer to getting dyno tuned. Just need a new fuel pump and my CTR exhaust cam and i'm done for now

What do we have here?

Bubble wrap FTW

Two items, each individually wrapped?!?

BAM Camshafts!

To be exact, CTR camshafts.

Since I already have a CTR intake cam, that means I have a spare. So If you're interested in a CTR intake cam LMK and I'm sure we can work something out.

I guess next on my list is a fuel pump. Oh yeah, I'm getting custom valve cover in addition from Superstar Custom (The owner is CSUbucky on here).

New head unit looks great man! My roomate has the similar one in his STi. I adjusted the color on it, so it lights up in a green color. It matches his clock and climate control nicely! Looks like you did the same thing with yours because I see it lighting up in an amber color in your pics. Good stuff!

I actually just did some car audio crap in the CRX too, check my sig, lol. Anyways, good updates man, catch you around!

Mike

Updates!!!

So I decided to throw my car on the dyno to see my improvements over the last time I dynoed (which was 2 years ago). I was shocked like hell LOL.

It's basically a stock internals b16 with ctr cams and bolts.

176hp out of a b16 is great, but it wasn't enough for me. At the topend my car moves, but outside of vtec it's a snail. So I decided to move on to bigger and better things.

b20vtec ftmfw!

Since I was getting married I couldn't go all the way out (sleeved, forged, headwork, etc) I decided to make basically an overbored ITR clone. So I picked up a set of 84.5mm type r style pistons.

I collected all the parts I need to install a girdle on my b20 plus some extras

-GSR/Type R ARP main studs
-GSR/Type R windage tray
-GSR/Type R oil pick
-OBD2 b-series oil pump
-KMS girdle
-ARP rod bolts
-KMS block guard
-ARP head studs

Since I coudlnt go all the way out with the headwork, I decided to atleast upgrade the valvetrain.

So I decided to start removing crap

I also did a bumper pole delete (aka got a new front bumper), got new bumper lens, and added a SiR lip to the front.

I installed a new "H" emblem and new side markers also.

update

Shortly after the last update, my friends and I installed the motor and after 10 miles, the timing belt crapped out causing the motor is jump timing. So bye bye new valves and head. Luckily, I still had my head off of my old b16. So after swapping all my valvetrain over, installing my ctr cams back in, and installing my old head I was back on the road (during this time, I was moving over two states, finally getting settled with my new wife who I haven't seen in over a month, and starting my graduate school *shakes head*). Anyways, I was able to get the motor tuned and here are the results.

I made 206/156 only revving to 8k, ctr cams, and a bent tri-y. So I believe I have plenty left in the motor.

Overall, the car is pretty fun and it's a lot faster than the b16. The downfall is I'm always worried about something going wrong (after timing belt crapping out). With the b16, I got in my car and drove the piss out of it with no worries, now since I got money invested in a motor, I scared of something breaking and my money going down the drain. Besides that I have no complaints.
