haha, here's your problem (SAME EXACT THING happened to me ; i was like WTF since i was excited that it'd work): the wire you connected to the fuse box thing under the steering wheel is reversed. flip it around, and it should work. good luck man.

What do you mean by flip the wire! Im confused!

got my ebay fog lights a while back but just got da chance to install it recently. Got the installation on the bumper part done. but da wiring was tricky so i had to go to a shop to get it done at. oh well. now it looks good! love the option that i can have only the fogs running!

I have a problem where the harness is a bit different. Instead of having a 3 pin connector that plugs into the fuse box I have a 6 pin connector and a female verion of the same connector about 2 inches from that one. There is only one place that I can see where this could plug in.....anyone seen this type of harness? Everything else seems the same however.

Default need wiring diagram for foglights!!!

and yes i used search and even clicked on the faq's, but all the links under the fog sticky were coming up invaild page, so i need help cause i ordered the ones off ebay and they came with no instrustions and i want to install them today, anyhelp will be very much appreciated

i have a 02 em2, jus got my ebay fogs today and i cant find any instructions on how to install them. I saw the DIY ebay fogs but it says internet explorer cannot open. So i just need someone to help me on how to install these or send me direction to my email at ehavenpimp06@yahoo.com ...thanks

Default stuck installing fog light kit.

It says " locate the 1 pin connector blue taped to the right position lamp harness. remove the tape to free connector. plug the 1 pin connector of the fog light harness into the 1 pin connector you freed". the only problem is i cant find where that blue taped 1 pin connector is where i have to connect it to. can somebody please help me !

I think it's the one inside the fender on the passenger side of the car, you must unclip the inner fender well and reach in be-hind the head light. you'll see it once your in. Hope this helps! Fog's are tight.

thanks you jstall, i found it right wen i took unclipped the fenderwall. now i need to wire everything up and find a spot to put the switch. fun

is it the OEM kit? if it's the OEM kit then i believe you can only install the switch on the center console, near the lighter. unless you want to add some of your own wiring

When I installed mine on my EM2, I had to put the switch in the glove compartment. Wires were too short, and I was lazy.

Default installing OEM foglights

Hi guys, today i installed my oem foglights for my 2001 civic...i followed the steps in the DIY in FAQ section, but when i get to the fuse box section, my box is completely different from the one in the picture....so i got really confused...
anyone have a good link to another DIY? or cane someone help me finish? thanks

there are two fuse boxes, are you sure your looking at the one under the dash?
