So, if I were to accomplish this conversion, would anyone know where I could get a full set of ceramic rotors for all 4 wheels? I might be answering my own question, but id be looking for an aftermarket set for an rsx after the swap rite? or am I way off base?

Also, ceramic rotors are going to be costly. That's why ceramic brake kits are usually $5,000 + for high dollar exotics. |

You are correct thats all there selling and there way over priced the only thing I'm getting there are lines and maybe the calipers. I don't have any junk yards near here and I'm not an ebay fan. |

For my rear disc conversion kit I opted to use dustshields without abs sensor holes cut into them, since I had to buy dust shields as mine were missing. To add rear dustshields without abs sensor holes cut into them, use Honda Canada Inc. service part # 43253-s5a-000(quantity two required), this is catalogued under a 2001 1.7EL base model with disc brakes, without ABS.

Honda Canada Inc. service part numbers for 2001-2005 Acura EL rear emergency brake cables are : 47510-S5A-J04 (right), and 47560-S5A-J04 (left). Rough measurement between these new cables and used EP3 cables is that they are one inch longer. Have not installed yet, to anyone who has used the EP3 cables, would you feel that this is the extra length needed for an easier install?

Hi, Im in the middle of doing my rear disc conversion and I was just wondering if anyone could help me out. I bought an aftermarket parking brake cable for a Acura 1.7EL (Basically a high end civic) and it doesn't seem to fit in too well. My question is did anyone have this problem? If I get a parking brake off a EP3 would that be a direct bolt on or would I still have to adjust some brackets? Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks

The EP3 cables are approximately on inch shorter than the genuine Honda Cables for the sedans/Acura EL's. I am sure your aftermarket cables are made to fit several different models, so will not fit like the OEM Honda ones. Proper cables to get are 47510-S5A-J04 (right hand) and 47560-S5A-J04 (left hand), can purchase through any Canadian Honda or Acura dealership. Paid $55.91 Cdn each. Take your aftermarket ones back to wherever you bought them from, they are likely selling you aftermarket EP3 cables which are shorter.
