Stay away from Duplicolor. I had to use a can to finish this and all it wanted to do was run off. I forget the can I started with, we had it on the shelf in the basement for years. It was a blue can with thin white lines in a grid pattern with a black cap. I wish I'd have made a note of the brand so I could pick up more if it's still made.

First Update:

98' Rear bumper has been acquired (FREE!)

I have removed almost all of the stickers, I only lack the bullett sticker on the rear hatch. The sticker just breaks apart, making the removal painfully slow.

Side shot (10''x6'' sticker used to be on both doors below the Side mirrors.)

I also began cleaning the engine bay, along with the removal of the PS.

As you can see, my cleaning was done before I began removing the PS. I'm not finished, as the engine bay is still dirty in many places so this isn't an issue. I'm

snagged on the PS rack, there is a hard line that is screwed into the rack by a 14mm nut. I was using a box wrench to try and break the nut free, but I was afraid of rounding the nut. Any suggestions?

Picture:

Thanks!

Glad to hear your project is coming along nicely. If you need some stock parts, LMK... I've got a few you might need.

Since Josh moved back to Indiania he has been through twice for personal, and twice for "business" lol. I will definitely give you a heads up.

On topic:

My Dad has given me the green light to start getting estimates for a garage. I am wanting a 20'x20' min, prefer a 20'x25'+ but that will depend on costs. This is R relevant since the garage will be its new home .

If anyone has advice or suggestions on building a garage, pricing, etc please PM me as I will be paying a portion of the costs.

I haven't forgotten about you! I was talking with Aquafina this weekend about a roadtrip down to Atlanta to pick up the hatch soon!

I have been reading reviews on different products. POR 15, among others. If you have any advice please feel free to offer.

This week I plan on finishing my scrubbing of the engine bay, a full exterior wash, and then I will begin addressing the surface rust.

Engine pickup will probably have to wait, I threw a rod last night in Knoxville and had to get towed home today.

Is this the R that used to belong to Kenny at Autohaus?

I know he used to own one and it was sweet when he had it and when he sold it, the kids beat the hell out of it...

Is this his old one do you know?

Oh no! Luckily you're the man when it comes to engines and trannies. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
