Anyone know of any dark grey or black paint that is actually reflective so I can actually smoke out the entire headlight. Instead of just doing the outer edges of it and having the middle still crome?

I did this this weekend, pretty easy and turned out great.

And as some people have said (I have an '03) a good hot hair dryer worked fine to pull the light apart, no problem.

The only tools i used to get the headlights out was 8mm socket, Phillips/flathead screwdriver, and Diagonal cutter as pliers. I didn't have any thing near the Rad cap to remove if your talking about the black clips? Use a flathead to pull up on them a little, then use diagonal cutters or "****s" to pull them up all the way.

Thanks for the positive feedback!! I like it, the only problem is, I am probably gonna have to order chrome bulbs for the turn signals. I can see a cop pulling me over for white blinkers. So far so good.---Andy

How many black clips did you remove?

Or a better question... What won't budge and come apart?

If it's the bumper make sure you get the screws in the fender well. Then you have to give it a good (but EASY) jerk to get it to pop out of the clips.

If it's the lights make sure you took all four black clips (like Matt said above) off of the perimeter of the light (where the clear plastic meets black plastic).

Also it may take a little bit to get the light cover to separate from the black housing. Make sure you follow the directions on the heating procedure. I used a hair dryer and it worked great (but I also have an '03). You should be able to get a screw driver down in there a little and start prying them apart (but take it easy).

one of my lenses is kind of foggy, what is best to make it like new again?

My oven is kinda small, but the lense fit in with an inch to spare. Had them in 250 for 5 mins and they slowly came apart.

As for the amber lense. I had a small flat head screwdriver, stuck it under the amber above the small light and it popped off.
