it wont do anything if its after the turbo....

the wastegate dumps excess exhaust gases to keep the turbo from spinning faster than you want it to, effectively controlling boost

yeah, it's not really "after the turbo" but the collector shoots straight to the WG rather than the turbo. This just allows the WG to be much more effective at controlling boost. It's perfect for a large turbo and low boost setup, but also great for those who want to run very high boost, yet be able to control it without resorting to dual WGs.

Very nice setup. Have you done any testing comparing the performance of the turbine priority vs the wastegate priority manifold designs?

We'll have some real world numbers as soon as my buddy finishes the rest of this setup. Unfortunetly we won't be able to do any "VS" tests due to the location of this new manifold.

however, F1's and other large turbo V8 motor setups have used this design with great success (which is where I have developed this design from).

i dont know what bryon uses, but we've made those out of regular tube by slowly heating/rolling the material. takes a while, but its real easy
