I might do this because that buzzer bugs the hell out of me. Even better would be to upload a ringtone to your ICU! Have it play 'who let the dogs out' or something when your door is ajar Maybe some michael bolton or something...

TAKE THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION!

then the door beep doesn't sound simple as that.

Or ever so slightly pull the key out of the ignition just a little bit and the beeper stops then also

how the car know that the key is in the ignition? with a switch unther the key hole.

just take of the 3 screws under the stering wheel, and you will see the black swich near the key role, just unscrew this swich and leave him out the correct place, done! no more anoying beeeepp

I don't know about in an EG, but in an EK if you pop the interior lights fuse, the headlight buzzer doesn't work any more.

or... just pull back the rear side panel, and unplug the switch... its just a pigtail connector... wrap with electrical tape as to not ground itself to the chassis... problem solved... unless your me and you have issues that piss you off so bad you wanna yank out wires everywhich way because you like the sound but the car will beep even though your keys are OUT of the ignition (i.e.: anytime the door is open) and it bugs the F**K out of you when trying to work on the car with the door open, like when working under the dash to try and figure out why its doing so... then no, problem NOT f**king solved... but if youre not me, then yes, problem solved...

I took out my interior lights fuse in my EG and it stopped both my dome light and door beeper from working. Realized how much I needed my dome light though and put it back in..
