Default **--Isabella Frost buildup thread--**

Closest pic I could find of how it looked when I got it....

I got her with a b16 in it, on these wheels, shitty tint, and stock suspension about 4 years ago. (this pic is with my ksports on)

Boosted that B16

cracked a ringland on #1 in two places (small cracks, but you could feel the power loss). Replaced that piston/rod and new bearings had it dynoed the next day and made 205whp at 8psi. it was tuned to 12psi but I was having trouble keeping boost that day. after the cracked ringland it never felt as strong as it did before..even with a fresh piston and ARP studs. Don't know why. I had just done a complete tuneup/maintenance on it and decided to sell the motor for a b18b...and later modified an integra torque mount to bolt my d series a/c compressor up and put a/c back in this car. Previous owner removed the compressor and a couple of the lines when he installed the b16.

Than I installed KSports and sold my 17" Tenzo Shu's and got myself some 15" steelies from a friend...

I tucked the driver side wires and cleaned the bay up a lot...it was dirty as hell. I swear, I'd go to tighten a battery terminal and come out with an arm covered in grease.

installed a 94 gsr cluster

I bought some 15" Rota Slips for it and some rays lug nuts last week and this is how she looks right now.

I am now in the process of building another b18b with 11.5:1 JE forged pistons, forged eagle rods, arp studs, GE block guard, ported head, crower 404's and valvetrain, type r oil pump, gsr timing belt and gsr water pump. 8lb flywheel and 6 puck sprung clutch. Going to use a ITR transmission with this new setup. I've already got everything, just waiting on the shop to finish balancing my rotating assembly and boring out my cylinders to 82mm. I'm using Avid mounts and traction bars on this setup (got a good deal) instead of my hasport stuff. I might throw this ls in my dad's 4dr ef with my hasports. The plan for the new one is to run it NA for a while with some nitrous and create my own custom remote mounted turbo setup for it.

I've got plenty more I want to do to her...just waiting for time and money to cooperate. She doesnt have any rust and has great interior. Almost all bushings have been replaced with ES as well.

btw: name isbella frost = name I gave her plus paint code name...frost white

LMK what you guys think. I will be updating this thread as progress is made...

current mod list:
Ksports with rear LCA's
grant steering wheel..currently looking for replacement with good horn button.
dual bend shifter with gsr knob
gsr cluster
semi tucked bay
94 b18b
aem cai
62mm bbk tb
modified teg bracket to use a/c
oem armrest
15" hand polished slipstreams with black rays nuts
brembo slotted brake rotors up front
stainless braided brake lines

EDIT: MORE UPDATES ON PAGE 2!

Thanks guys! I finally got a chance today to use some rubbing compound on the whole car and get all the oxidation off and put a few coats of wax on. Shes blingtastic right now! I freaking love rubbing compound though. It takes fuel stains right off the bumper with no problems.

Not hard at all. There is a writeup floating around here somewhere on installing a 99 Si cluster in. I used the crx pin outs from that writeup and found gsr diagrams ect. and just matched the wires up. I cut one wire at a time until it was completely done. Took me about an hour and a half because it was my first time doing anything like this and I wanted to be sure it was right...I also soldered every connection. To use this speedo you have to convert to an electric VSS also...

Done. This is how she shits now. I haven't gotten around to taking a better pic of the bay yet since I am still working some bugs out of the motor. Shes not running right yet...

I got my odyssey pc680 and slapped it in the cargo area with a painless performance wiring kit from Summit. I didnt do a full passenger side tuck. I mainly split the harness, reloomed it and hid it a lot better. Moved the fuse box so you cannot see it at all and pulled my vtec plugs back through the firewall since Iw ont be using those for quite some time...
