Default B series on 01 civic

could a b series motor just sit right on like the eg and ek or u have to change mounts

No it doesnt fit. This has been covered many times. There is a company that is making the motor mounts, but i dont think theyre out yet. Hasport maybe? Either way, just go K.

Not entirely correct. Hasport did get to the prototyping stage of building the B-series mounts, but decided against completing them. They won't be introduced, most likely, ever.

that would be my guess. i suppose b series wiring wouldnt play well with the distributorless system on our cars
