well i broke my nuts today
well i guess the last person who put on my front drivers side wheel either over torque or cross treaded the lug nuts and now i need 2 new wheels studs because they snaped in half. now i have to take off the whole hub assembly and has a shop press in a new wheels bearing so i can replace them. but i guess im going to replace the front crankshaft seal as well since that has a small oil leak. now i just need to wait on my honda repair manual to ship!

My integra has the same problem, on both front wheels! the guy before me tried putting the wrong offset wheels on and decided to completly break off, flush, one stud on each side. I been drove on them fine. But you again you have 2, id be iffy. How hard are those puppies to pop outand put new ones in?

Well, the offset of a wheel doesn't matter, when it comes to the studs. It's a measure of distance from the hub of the wheel to the center of the entire wheel width.
The studs aren't terribly hard to remove, but it does take some gentle coaxing with a hand-sledge.

but they're pressed in from the back side. You need to take the hub off because there isnt enough room to get the new ones back in. Thats why everyone bitches so much about breaking them. its 75 cents for a stud, and 75 bucks to get it in.
