Default Broke into 640whp, stock head, stock fuel lines, FPR and ITR cams=50+whp

Just got off the dyno today and made 640whp and 422tq # 30psi. Same set up from last season, only change was ITR cams on the intake side, made over 50+whp just by changing the cams. This is still stock unported head with springs and retainers. Stock fuel lines, stock fuel pressure regulator with just a walbro 255. A/F was reading .5 point lower from my wideband.

Wow great power. Your AFR looks a little lean in the mid range, did you fix that or is that on purpous?

Already fixed, my wideband reads .5 richer. The one from the dyno was reading off my tail pipe.

.5 richer or not, you should have hade VE curve figured out WAY before that high boost pull. looks good though. Whats the timing at around peak torque?

I'm using Innovative wideband. Springs and retainers are Skunk2.

Timing @ peak torque was around 8 degrees.

116, tuning with Crome. I've tune it conservative. I've built this motor and tune my own cars. Once, I get a better feel of it, will be pushing it harder.

Good numbers are you going to make it to any of the NW series races this year? if not, we better see you at boti.

Thanks... Planning to hit Utah IDRC in June, probably won't have a chance up there. But, yeah... BOTI in Seattle, was fun last year and need to defend the title.

is the ITR cam better for boost than GSR cams? What cams did you have before? How do you like the T4/T67? Hows the spool on it? Great job nevertheless

Great numbers.

Max500 you can see full boost is around 6000 rpm's so its a little laggy for most but for a drag setup it looks ok. As long as you run a 2 step it will be great, but as for street driving it wouldn't be as much fun as a less hp and quicker spool in my opinion. But for what he wants it for I think its a very nice setup. Can't wait to see the new times. I hope to see you make some runs in Utah this season.

GSR are good for boost, seen a few set-up that did 600+. I used GSR cams before. I wanted to try the allmotor cams or Maxworks cams, end up picking just the intake ITR cams for a good price. Full boost around 6k, little laggy. Running it on a B16 tranny, so the RPM doesn't drop below 5.5k between shifts.

Some one has to represent the HONDA's around here.... Should of kept the single slam and bust the 500+ mark.

I just thought about it, this motor is going on a 3rd season. If this motor last, will try to push it to the 700whp mark. Those eagle rods are hold up pretty good. It must be the Builder and Tuner.

Chrome, and I believe he did the tuning if I am reading the thread correctly.
