My continuing problem is finding the paint TYPE used back in 1986 on the CRX Si which was manufacturered in Japan. I'm looking to do an accurate restoration and need to know the paint type...lacquer, enamel, urethane? Are the base and clear coat the same paint type? I know the primer was a light grey in color and the color is Metallic Blackburn.

I tried by contacting Honda of America and they didin't know.
