Well I'm waiting for my box of OEM goodies to come in, also my Full Race Vtec conversion kit and MFactory drain plug. In the meantime, I decided to hook my boy up since he needed a place to ship his JDM ITR clip (no engine). Here are some pics.

Well my garage looks like the place where Hondas go to die.

At least I finally got the block on the engine stand.

Shout out to my crew. Reppin' the Dirty "D" fool!

And I snagged this from the ITR. Looks 1000% better now that it's cleaned up and got all of the glass/ dirt off of it.

Kinda cool knowing I pulled this from an actual JDM ITR instead of buying a brand new one from somewhere. I dunno...I dig shit like that.

My box of OEM parts will be here tomorrow so I can finish putting the block together. My LSVTEC kit should arrive tomorrow as well. If I'm up to it, it might install the pistons tonight.

Well I never thought I'd build a motor from the ground up so the pics are like my proof that I did it myself. Hahah. Plus, I've been mooching off of Honda Tech since 2002, so I figured I'd contribute something back.

Thanks bro. I have to give a lot of the credit to the guys I mentioned in the original post. If you havent already, look at those guys' build. Amazing/ informative stuff.

Well I wasnt feeling froggy enough to install the pistons last night so I didn't. Lol. Anyways, in other news, my box of OEM stuff came in as well as my Full Race LSVTEC conversion kit. The kit was missing the dowel pins so I gave them a call. One of the engineers apologized and said he would personally send the dowels to me through Priority Mail. So I'll wait for them.

The goods.

LS

head gasket
Oil pan gasket
Rear main seal
Transmission seal
Oil pan drain plug
Coolant tube o-rings

GSR

Oil pump seal
Oil pump o-ring
Timing belt
VTEC oil pressure switch
Ex Manifold gasket
Calve cover gasket
Valve cover grommets
Valve cover nuts (chrome)
Valve cover nuts
Cam seals (cam side)
Cam seals (distributor side)
Spark plug seals
PCV Valve

Type R

Intake manifold gasket
Throttle body gasket

And the Full Race VTEC conversion kit

And the latest SW collectible...

Big ups to my homegirl Kennica for coming through again with the parts. Congrats on the NSX!

I'll try to build the complete bottom end this weekend.

So apparently, piston ring files don't grow on trees. I really don't feel like buying one and none of my local parts stores rent them. Fawk.

Well I got a couple of toys in today. My girl got me a Shadow Stormtrooper and an Obi Wan Kenobi, and my MFactory magnetic drain plug came in. I also got some cable for my fuse box relocation that I botched up.

Aww...its kind of cute

Wait...this shit is GANGSTER!

I saw a picture of a guy holding up a rod/piston so I decided to try it out. I doubt any metallic debris will get past this sucker.

I'm on my way to go buy a piston ring expander so I can install my pistons.

The saga continues...
