Dude that is absolutely amazing! I had no idea you bought soooo much shit for it.
Amazing pictures, the bike looks great! How did the install go on the front end? (get a LeoVince highmount)

The install on the front end was extremely easy. The hardest part was bleeding the brakes.
The bike handles awesome. The 636 shock is pretty stiff, and makes the rear a little "bouncey" over bumps, but in corners it works very well. Turn in is incredible. Mid corner drive is great, and the downswept 954 clip ons are really nice for hanging off. |

my favorite sv650s
but my taste prefers the single sv650 headlamp. other than that, mmmmmmmmm. although a highmount would look awesome to.

how does that shock feel?
and what year bike did you get it from? any major modification to the battery box or the tool holder looks like you cut it out or removed it but I can't tell? edit, also how hard is it to de snorkle it? do you need anything in particular? |

de snorkeling is as easy as removing the snorkel from the front of the airbox. This leaves an open face on the front of the air box. Tonight i took the lid off of the battery box and enlarged the opening and rounded it more. The effect was unoticeable so it wouldn't be worth ruining a air box lid for. Thanks for all the comments everyone. The bike is far from done, so i'll continue to update when i take decent pictures of it. |

As to god.loves.ugly's question. Yes i have the stock clipons, yes i would sell them. I know that they are the right diameter for your fork tubes so there's nothing keeping you from putting them on. |

ah well I just read on svrider that you need the triples as well because of the bolt position on the naked triples it hits.
so I might just go with woodcraft clip ons to save me some labor haha |

what is the advantage of a 636 rear shock as opposed to a shock from a gsxr or any other bike?

If I can get a decent shock for cheap i want to change mine out asap, but I'm cheap so I'm just going to put different springs and oil in my forks instead of putting on new forks. |
