here is the measurements of the mounts brackets and such it might help some one doing this swap. hope this will help some one


this axle is the 90 acura integra pass-side only for both sides of the cvcc the hub side is the cut and resplined for the cvcc hub its the better one to use the size of the axle only match the measurements of the brackets and mounts.

oh ya the stickers were on the car i think there a lill old i dunno the kid that had it left it in a barn head-gasket bad for 3-5 years so there is only a lill rust on the car. oh ya thats what makes this thing fast is the stickers lol i know what the stickers are my lill brother told me im getteing old.

sorry for the delay but was working on a diff car for a friend now back to the cvcc i don't know what the car weight is but i think its about 1 or 200 lds more than the 1st gen civicthe 1st gen is 1500 lds i know im more than that 1500-1600 dunno cant find specs on the 2nd gen weights. i have the PR3 ECU for the OBDO 88-91 civic-CRX i don't know what its ganna do at the track but wiil find out ill post the times on here as well even if it sucked lol. its all stock inside its a build the stock specs. not for race every day driver w/ my two kids. the car is built for racing my kids to school on time. and work lol naaaa! the build is for father son thing.

wire tuck it Y ? i wanna get to the wires for changes and its not for show and wast of time looks good but wast i have too much stuff to do to it right now don't wanna add more to it. if i had more time i would. i would run them through the frame but i just wanna drive it can't wait.

UPDATE : ok ok im still lazy lol only got a lill done had to work on another car and my kids were sick now im back and going to start back up i did get the front and back bumpers for it there clone of the asain 80-83 cvcc civic looks like the 84-87 civic bumpers but bolt up and it looks like a VW GTI ill get pics up soon the starter is out now so i have to get another one. thats all i got right now. yep yep still lazy. im ganna make it to woodburn drags next month so ill have it running just not painted yet.

It runs!!! IT RUNS !!! OK guys hold on to your pants IT RUNS!!!!! im still up and did the last wiring it stats up and runs at the Key sounds great i was doing the last of it from 6:00 AM tell now its 2:20 AM i smell like gas and high from the smell soooo next will be the drive and i have a vid of the first start up ill post then the drive ill post gatta put all the interior ill tell ya one thing the crank amps of the starter in the RC 80 cvcc i feel in the car i think the starter would drive the car just fine lol.

OK just the start-up of the RC- cvcc B16 nothing Big and it runs out of gas only had a lill bit in it

thanks guys for all the + feed back the Batt, is not for the civic but ya its the size of the motor lol had to use it it was late and store wasn't open
Update i pulled out the fuel tank cuz i had a lill prob with the fuel lines there the size of vacumm lines lol i ordered fuel lines from summit 3/8 high flow aluminum fuel line and custom fit to the stock tank soon will be on the road.

i have the Haynes repair manual and it said 1380 lbs i don't know for sure but thats what it said 1380 lbs and 160 hp
to find out what it might do i have a 1/4 mile ET Calculator i found online
i don't know how good it is but its fun.

They aren't that light.

You're probably looking at closer to 1800-1900 lbs.

I forget exactly what mine weighed in at, but if I remember it was like 1870lbs. Yours will be a bit lighter because I have a/c and full interior.

Looking on Wikipedia it shows the 1973-1979 civics as 1500lbs (680kg). I couldn't imagine the 1980 would weight much more. If that calculator is close to being accurate you would be in the low 13's...theoretically.
