I am not sure if you can use the DC MC & BB.
I know for sure you can use the DA MC & BB.

I did mine with the car on 4 jackstands. Took about an afternoon all by myself include bleeding the brake.

going back to the BB n MC thing.. i already have the DA fronts n started on the rear but the heads of the bolts in the lca on the disks broke n i kinda lost interest. since im running the DA fronts should i use the 4040 prop and get the DA BB n MC? and from what i understand, when u change the brake booster u have to take out the dash.. correct?

i have all the stock (DX) parts still on my crx, but when i drive my buddies sedan his braking power is a lot better. he has the swapped MC and 4040 prop valve. so i will soon be doing that too. i highly recommend it since i have been driving his car since my crx was stolen.

I have (92-95) civic si trailing arms with ABS on my 88. Works just fine. You will just have the extra "spline" that the ABS used on there.

Hey, just read the whole write up. Just had a few questions. I'm getting a donor car tomorrow (a DA) that i'm gonna be getting the rear disc off to do this swap. Just curious though in this picture:

It looks like you removes the lower control arm too. When I put it back, do I use the EF one, or the DA one?

Also at one point in the thread, you said that your buddy grabbed the wrong E-Brake cables. Which ones do you need? Will the ones off a DA work? If not I need to know asap. Thanks.

also, you said to change the prop valve.. will the one from the DA work? If yes, would it be better then the on on my DX crx?

my buddy had grabbed del sol cables those do not work they are way too short for the hb. and yes the prop valve from a DA will work perfect. if you have a hb the DA cables will bolt up perfectly with out a problem, if you have a crx you will need the cables from a 91 crx si. otherwise your cables will drag on the ground.

you can use the one from your car, but i used all the parts that came form the donor car minus the top bar that connects to the frame.

Would it be possible for you to make a master list of parts needed to complete this conversion? I'm about to do this on my car since I've been wanting the upgrade and my wheel bearings are going bad.

so could i just use a 4040 valve instead of the 3030 valve with my 13/16 master cylinder and brake booster in the meantime until i get the 15/16 combination without any braking problems...!!!
