Default New Ls/vtec Set Up

actually this is my friend's set up
94 B18b block
Pr3 Piston
99 b16 completly stock head
GSR Trranny
F1 Stage 3 Clutch with 8 lbs flywheel
99 GSR Stock ECU
NGK spark plugs
AEM Short Ram Intake
DC 4-2-1 header and test pipe
soon to be tune with HONDATA

DOES IT SOUNDS GOOD? AND HOW MUCH CAN HE EXPECT?
ANY COMMENTS ,ANSWER WHATEVER WILL BE THANKS FULL

Take it to a dyno to get a real # instead of what he can expect. Spark plug listing is not a mod.

i will tell him about the chipped p28 ECU beacuase hes trying to get close to 200WHP so he may have to upgrade some other stuff too

hes gonna need more than that to get to 200whp. Hes lookin at more like 170-175. imo Either way it will be a fun drive

what else would you guys recomend besides cams or boost?
i told him to to get some skunk2 stage 3 cams he says its too much money...
he probably will be just aroun 180 whp then..!!!

without doing anything else to the block he's not going to be able to rev very high. I would say if he did go with the skunk2 cams he would have to do atleast springs and retainers. After that throw in some ARP rod bolts and then he would be real close to that 200 mark and i think he would be able to safely rev to like 8200 or so.

all right save this topic i will be updating you guys, we've been street racing it up here in BOSTON and he be smoking B16s and GSRs so most likely hes around 175 to 180 WHP by now..
