Thanks.. I wasn't holding the camera.. Thats why it came out good

2: how come the fan switch doesnt light up?
I have no clue... I'll check it out tonight.

3: i want that damn diy
Ok, refer back to page 9 and the trouble I went through changing the tires.. Yeah, same thing here.. Trouble trouble trouble. ANd, I don't knwo if it's gonna fit.

4: i put your leathers in, and im liking it, already broken in and everything, just like leather should be.
Awesome man.. I was hoping you'd like em Remember to leave mefeedback on teh Ebay

5: now do a diy on the dome lamp and map lights.
The dome light was easy.. I took the cover off, replaced the bulb with the LED one, which was a little bigger but I made it work, and put the cover back on.

6: maybe instead of doing all these diys you should just open up a 5 day seminar to all ht members and just do shit!

least youve got the balls rip your car apart... whenever i try to do somthing i end up with the whole parts left over thing. even the seats, since your have the 4 door (doh) and ive got the 2 door the rails didnt line up right, and im too lazy to change the rails so im running on 3 bolts in each seat.

Ehh, 3 bolts is fine

Just make you a little spacer or something (IE, washers) and you shoudl be able to get the 4th bolt in no prob ( I woudl assume)

And, as far as an update.. If all goes well, I'll be installing my catch can this weekend

Who knows, maybe, after weeks of not being able to get my wheels, I can finally order them tomorrow? I'm sure the ocmpany won't have any in stock I'm hating these wheels I have.. THe tires are too wide and I scrub :S ANd I can't raise the car anymore either.

Something else has happened though. I have an intermitten problem that seems to be more and more common.

AFter I've ran my car for a while, I'll shut it off and it won't crank back up. It's only happened a handful of times since I've owned the car but it's happened 3 times in the last 3 weeks, one being last friday and one this morning.

I've researched and narrowed the problem down to the Main Relay. I've read were you can solder the connections together for a cheap fix, though I dunno if I'm gonna do that.

I may be running back to pick n pull this weekend and snagging a couple, since they are $60.00 to $70.00 from Honduh new :S

mmmm Pace Picante sauce, goes great w/ On the Border tortilla chips

dome light looks a little too blue for me. I put a regular hyperwhite bulb in my dome light and it works great, way brighter than stock.

No 98-01's there man :S Sorry.

Your gonna have to keep an eye out in the for sale forums.I've actually never seen a 98+ there. Always 94-97's. And the headlight's are either damaged or gone out of those.

Why don't you JB weld it back on?

I mean, if all it is, is a tab.. I sure would. Be a whole HECK of alot cheaper and It would hold

Heck, you could do the JB weld AND/OR fiberglass it too.
OR, just send the headlight to me and I'll fix it for ya If all it is is tabs it should'nt be a problem.

well the bodyshop tried to glue it (says alot about the bodyshop lol), but it broke within the first 15 mins of driving. As far as i know it's just one tab, but i'm gonna take the bumper back off tmmr and check it out, because the headlight doesn't set in the bumper right either.. i might snap some pics. hmmm... shipping to FL.... might not be a bad idea

Yeah man.. I'd do it. Not a problem at all. Pm if you wanna do it and we'll work out the details and whatnot, that way were not cluttering up my thread with jibber jabber

As far as an update... <sighs> I'm gonna try ONE LAST TIME to get my GT3's. If they are sold out in red, I'm gonna go with a different wheel. My money should be in place and whatnot sometime this morning ( I assume after the bank opens).
So, we'll see.

Also, I did indeed win the auction on my fog lights..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...d=1,1

Got a killer deal on em. About $20.00 cheaper than the cheapest price I found online
Here's a pic so when the Ebay link goes dead you can see what they look like.

I'll pay for em today so hopefully they'll be here by the end of next week. As always, a DIY of the install and pics will be supplied

a DIY on the catch can will be ready this weekend.. possibly the write up on the LED climate control if I have time.. that one still needs some work to make it right :S

Looks like my Pilot PL-720B projector fogs.

Do yourself a favor and don't use that ghey switch they included. Buy a mini rocker switch from an auto parts store (illuminated if you want) and mount it on the rear surface of the pocket below your radio. That's where I put mine. I cut out a rectangular hole from the back of the pocket and the switch snaps right in. It's out of sight, but when I turn them on at night it projects a red glow onto the shifter area You can get a blue switch, too, if you want.

I also wired them to only work when the parking lights are on. If the lights are off they do not work. I did have to re-wire the relay that came with the lights to make it work that way. You probably won't have to, though, as yours looks like a normal Bosch 30A SPST relay, instead of the proprietary Pilot relay that came with mine.

Only problem now is that if I leave the fogs on when I turn off the car, the fogs will flash along with the parking lights when I arm or disarm the alarm.

One step ahead of ya there mang I'm gonna get another switch like the above one for the fogs. I may try red and see how it looks.. Though it woudl clash with my blue theme I'm rocking at the moment, ay know?

Then again, it might look cool haveing a blue switch and a red switch too.
I'll decide on that later. But I plan on ditching teh ghey switch that comes with this thing.

I dunno if I"m gonna wire them with my turn signals or not.. I'll decide on that as well. may have to consult my consultants on that.

What do you guys think?

you mean have the fogs blink wtih the blinkers? i dont think so. but i do think a red switch would look good next to that blue one. then just get yourself 2 more accessories, and get 2 more color switches, i think that would look nice.

how about a power antenna override switch and i was thinking for myself a switch that overrides the button that tells the car that the door is open, so i can chill with my key in the car, radio on, door open, without the nonstop beeping.

I've already done that, I mounted a small black rocker switch on the driver side rear side trim panel, down near the floor, right near where the seat belt attaches at the bottom. Wiring is VERY easy, as there is only one wire that plugs into the door plunger switch w/ a standard 1/4" female spade terminal. All you have to do is take that wire and plug it into one side of the aftermarket switch (no cutting of wires required), and then cut a new piece of wire with quick disconnect terminals on both ends to attach to the new switch and the OEM door plunger switch, and that's it. It tricks the car into thinking the door is closed, so of course the dome light will turn off, as well as the beeper if the key is in.

oh wait, Mac has a fo'-do', so I guess he could mount it to the B-pillar trim panel. If you mount it on the center console then you have to run a wire all the way over there from the B-pillar to the switch, and another one all the way back. Plus it's more discreet, as the switch isn't going to match factory switches exactly, anyway. I like to have non-OEM switches mounted out of sight.

Actually, I kinda like that idea. May have to check into doing that if I'm ever bored and have nothing to do

Well, not too much of an update. My wheels/tires are bought and paid for (Yay!)..

The catch?

They won't be here till, oh... THE END OF MAY!!!!!!!!!!! WTH?

I've bought the most played out wheel/color combo in the history of mankind. Geez I know I said that I'd get diff wheels if these were sold out.. But I decided against it while I was talking to the guy (Chris) on the phone. He said that I'll be priority whenever they get a set in sooooo.....I continue to wait

But.. for some good news.... The dyno day is this coming Saturday!!!!!

The preparation for this, in my case, is pretty simple:
#1 Oil change w/full synthetic and a Hamp filter.
#2:Index and gap spark plugs.
#3:Grounding kit <---- Eli's building it this week
#4:Fuel injection cleaner
#5:May change the fuel filter.. We'll see if I have enough time this week.
#6:Catch can <---- Eli BROKE it last night Maybe I'll have it back together this week.

The first run will be as is, the way it's driven everyday, save for an iced down intake manifold.

The second run, however, will be a little different. I'm just gonna use a few old school racer tricks to get all the ponies I can get out of my lil V-attack mill We'll see how that works. Im expecting a good bump in hp and tq.. But I'm not gonna say how much.

I'm just excited I'll get to dyno my car, my truck.. and heck, just go to a dyno!
Can't wait There will be alot of pics/vids of it.. So it'll be a pretty cool update when it happens

Untill then.. I'm waiting for my fogs to get in, which should be this week and the installation will 100% be this weekend If I can fix my catch can, it'll go in this week.. I'm holding off on my climate control untill I have more time to dissassemble that part of my dash (not looking forward to it :S)

And speaking of lights.. I adjusted my headlights last night, since I've needed it forever..100% better now. I can actually see more than 4 lines ahead of me now! More like 10-11 now Yay!

Anyway..Thats about it for now. If I can fix my catch can, I'll update with the DIY on that
