Depending on what head, maybe 40+ hp. But you have to remember when your taking your car to 8000+ rpm's. you have a stock botom end. they suck. Many people, including myself put ARP rodbolts on the connecting rods. TRUST ME They are the first things to break. After you do that, your bottom is good till about 9000 RPM's. Your going to want to put higher compression Pistons in. I think stock ls, plus like a b16 head is 9.?:1 compression.
I have a b16 head, b18a1 head. P30 pistons, and I'm at 12.6:1 compression B16's are good for turbo, GSR's are good for High compression

you seem liek you knwo what you are talking about... so what head do you think i shoudl go with if im jsut looking for a basic increase in horsepower... and how much wouldf the ARP rod bolts cost me about? and then again with the pistons and such how much for all of that? and i need a new computer and everything too right? what head would be the best for me
