Steel tube. You (basically) cut the top off of the top hat, weld the tubing on, and weld the top of the top hat back on.

You're gonna need to measure to figure that out for yourself. Needs to be about the same size and thickness as the top part of the hat, small enough o.d. to fit through the hole in the shock tower but large enough i.d. for the bumpstop to fit inside of.

Digital calipers are your friend.

I just used 2" OD tubing (dont know the ID). It required a little "massaging" to get through the hole on the shock tower but it wasnt hard

wat bumpstop do you use. sorry if they seem pointless questions. but i plan on running these wit F&F type 2 and i don;t recall seeing any bumpstops on my setup.

You really shouldn't need to use these with F&Fs... they are height and preload adjustable. This is a fix for people who are using a stock length shock on a lowered setup and need to bring the shock shaft back into its operational range.
