Your beauty washers are hollow and dig into and scratch/split your paint. I know you dont want to mess up your nice ass paint.

Why? Other than maybe him shaving the bay and needing it redone, why does the rest of the car need to get resprayed? Didn't you guys just spend tons of hours on stripping it down, bodywork and prep, to get it perfect?

Well, the body guy (Jose) removed a lot of the dings. I believe there were like 53 on the car total. We don't know if he missed them, just wasn't as good as we thought, or didn't put full effort into the work... but there are still blemishes on the exterior I'm getting new door skins and the rest will be worked out

I think she will be seeing boost this winter. Most likely at that time when the motor is pulled, the bay will be redone as well as the exterior reshot. I really had no intentions of having this car show car quality, but it's turning out that way. It's like we've put sooooo many hours into it.... why not have a flawless exterior.

Session 053 - September 12, 2007

Arrived home from work ready to do some real work

New hood prop holder:

EP3 pulley setup:

Installing:

IAT sensor installed:

Almost there:

Session 054 - September 13, 2007

$hitiest day for the build. Rainy and this is the day I sat on the phone for hours with Will of Hybrid Racing trouble shooting the conversion harness. Awesome service from HR ...and found out the problem was the relay was popped due to solder on a couple wires causing a short That day I actually gave up on the swap and my father and brother had to talk me back into working on the car again.

Not many pics because it was just one $hity day!!

BEFORE the problems arrived:

Half shaft bolts:

SneezinCD5 finishing her up:

Session 055 - September 14, 2007

Steering wheel hardware:

SneezinCD5 painted the valve cover:

SneezinCD5 painting the rear hatch at 4am (day of the show)

I think we slept 2-3 hours that morning and were back at it putting the final touches before the show:

Washing her:

Soooooo tired:

That concludes the NOPI build up pics!!

Thanks for checking out my build thread

I look at this thread quite often and miss the long days working on it. I need to start my own build as soon as I get the Accord back on the road.
