one of my buddies did a 13.5...one exhaust conversion, AEM short ram...75 shot of nitrous...no launch with no traction and fish tailed alittle in second....i thought it was a beast..but he got disqualified because he had no helmet...a couple of months later he raced a 12.7 built 240...took it by two or three cars...i want a s2k also...

see sig..

s2k isn't a great drag racing car( unlesss ur willing to spend plenty of money on it) ..
rear end is really weak..
I broke mine last week but not drag racing I've taken it to the track like 2 times got like 5 passes total but it was a yr ago..
but I baby the stupid car too much for like the last yr I probably revved it up over 5k once or twice...
it never sees any abuse since its my DD
and its bone stock btw

That was a consideration when I was looking to buy one as well

What are some of the easy fixes for strengthening the rear ends? Whole new pumpkin?

The Z tranny isnt exactly bulletproof either ---- I wish they made both cars a little stronger inthe rear axle/pumpkin combo

How are the rear diff bushings on the S2K ----- the Z's get quite a bit of wheel hop with the stock ones

if you can drive it right you wont!!!

play your right and left foot right and you can get it done!
hell even on some decent street tires you can do it too!

Very little, the car bogs with too much traction and not enough revs if anything...
