It's sunny 300 days out of the year and the rest is rain....it's been 3 years since a blizzard and before that was in the 90's, colorado is a very nice place to live.

I concur, so far anyways.

After it's all said and done. Unfortunately, it's turned to ice now that it's 7pm and the Xterra is just spinning tires.

Agreed 100%. I was born here, and absolutely love it. I will always live in this great state.

If I was in denver I'd come help out. We'll be heading down there tommarow for the weekend though.

It felt sooo good to dig out of the huge snow pit of a parking lot today.

I can only read a certain about of "e-beef" before I get really bored.

Wonder if work will be open tomorrow...

I would assume we are gonna get hit pretty hard in the near future. We've had one storm this year and it all went away pretty quickly.

Pretty much any place in co is great too live. Although for some reason there are certain areas that are densely sided to one political view. For example...

- Boulder is VERY liberal
- Fort collins is VERY conservative
- Denver is more of a middle ground.

Its weird to say, but there is this "feel" from living in those places that you can pick up, which are totally different. Although I'm not Liberal, and I'm not conservative, I tend to like Denver the best. It's diverse, the people are freindly (unlike northern CO) and theres pretty much everything you could ever look for in a city. However, if you want to live in the suburbs, Littleton, Golden, lakewood are all great places. I'm biased to littleton though as I spent most of my life growing up there. Littleton/golden are also great places if you like the mountains. I-70 is the main Hwy into the mountains, it is literally a 5 minute drive away. there are also numerous mountain biking trails back behind the foothills if you don't want to drive.

Another great place for biking is boulder. It also has lots of trails that start at the foot of the mountains, and can take you as far as you want to go.

Pretty much anywhere you choose is going to be fairly expensive. Even out on the plains, development has caused the prices to increase substantially. But a good rule of thumb is that the more you go west, the higher the prices will likely be.
