Tbone, I've never met you before or even read any of your posts(that should change soon), but I'm really sorry to hear about everything that is going on. I'm sorry for all the physical, emotional, and financial/insurance pain you've been experiencing over the last 8months. I don't know if your religious or not, but I believe that prayer really works.
I'm glad to read that your getting off of the heavy antibiotics and that your pain level isn't so severe that you're having major trouble walking. I'll be praying for you and your job situation. And contributing to the fund. keep it coming guys.

well pain wise it's been a bad few weeks, but it seems to leveling off now at a steady 5 on a 1-10 scale..I do have some good news though. I had my doctor fudge a work release form that says I can go back with no restrictions. It's the only way i can go back to work. I will be going back to work on the 25th!!! Finally. I will need to borrow cash to pay this months bills but after that i will be back on track and making money again. I will also be able to do coatings again for everyone and thats a huge help..
I just want to take the time to thank Dave S from SMSP for setting up this fund and to all of you who donated and said kind words, i could not have been able to make it this far without going bankrupt without all the donations from you guys here. You guys and gals stepped up and helped my family and i survive through all this. You will all be in our hearts forever..
I wont be able to perform my duties at my current job most likley, but this will bring in some cash while I get my resume ready and out.

Well guys, the 25 was my first official day to go back to work.. I was pretty nervous as I'm afraid with all the lifting I wont be able to hack it.
Anyway I got on wed and prepped for my first day of work in over 10 months.. I hopped into my car and drove in..

Well ALLMOST. I made it through the first 30 min of my drive when traffic started to thicken, all the sudden the 2 cars in front of me locked them up, i hit my brakes and just stopped in time without hitting the car in front of me.. I was like omg what a close call again !! when SLAM the guy behind me slams me at like 30 mph pushing me into the car in front of me..
I think something is telling me not to work at my job anymore...Anyway i had to go to the hospital with whiplash and a sore back and neck.. They say without doing xrays that its just muscle damage and not serious(yeah right just like last time) .
I woke up today and could barely move.. it got better throughout the day though.. I dropped the car off at the body shop today and will drive my rental to work.. I cant get into see my neurosurgeon untill the 6th so I hope it doesnt get any worse..

How's that for luck!!!!!!!!!!
I'll try to start work again tommorow..
