Look at that - a systematic way of figuring out why VTEC doesn't work. After reading so many of these threads around here, I was beginning to think visual inspection followed by randomly replacing parts and hoping for the best was how it was done.

I guess I will toss it out there as well for the JDM owners that do not have Vtec Pressure Switches and want to run USDM ECU's. Splice the Vtec Solenoid wire (Green wire with a yellow stripe) and Vtec Pressure Switch wire (Blue wire with a black stripe) together and this will fix it.

added knock sensor and fixed the images i guess we todd did isn't up anymore, let me know if anyone wants anymore

very useful, Thanks! I just got a new multi-meter. so test the soleniod do I use DC or AC settings? is there a general rule of thumb where if there's X amount of wires then its a AC/DC?

when was the last time this thread was checked the pics are not loading.

zc dohc turbo crx soon to come. jg engine forgot to tell me that the bottom of the sleeves needed to be grinded down so now jk machine shop has to disasemble the bottom end. http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emsad.gif . theyll make it right. ive got the heart of it all , its a garret t3/t4 57 trim 63 a.r. hope thats enough.well i went zdyne and i got it. i uploaded the pm7 tune, now im waiting for the the block. still!!!!!!!!!
