Default Team 1320's All Motor ITB K20/K24/k26 Eg Project

sup guy's... i just wanted to share my build up from k20a2 to my k20/k24 setup to my latest 2.6L setup... this is pretty much the whole build up on the car... from the motor to the smallest thing... hope you guys enjoy.

part1: k20a2

part2: well after only having my k20 for about 2 months... i decided to go k20/24...
after seeing the power they make...

k20/k24 was cool and made great power...

part3: but now lets see what part three build up has in store: UPDATED 5/25/07 now going k20/k26 big 2.6L this time around and even higher compression.... STAY TUNED!!!

here is a list of everything i can think of that's done to the car....

I have seen something similar. It is going to make around 270whp.. if not... your tuner doesn't know how to tune up high for the RBC which wants more cam angle...

My only comment is about your header. Rcrew or dtr header designed for 2L motor with stock compression is not ideal for your motor. I realize you don;t have much time to get a bigger header but in the long run you are going to need one to see more power.

You setup on a 2000 lb car should run a best of 11.5 on 24.5/25 inch slicks, around 118 mph exit speed

Sorry to hear about the clutch problems. Great 60 ft times though. You were driving that thing. Scott ran 11's on that setup , so I know you can too. Keep up the good work. Just get her dialed in and your gonna give those other guys problems in that class. Good job.

I qualified and made top 8 in the pro am all motor class but i broke on my next pass i broke my pressure plate... and didn't get to race on Sunday..... first pass i ran 12.5 but red light..... next pass i ran a 12.0 granny shifting.... getting the feel for the car first time i drove it since the swap..... i would of ran 11's for sure if i hadn't broken.... next time i will the power is there..

hahah im a NA nut so i already loved it when it came out and after riding with AllMTRWH0R3 in his i was hooked.. but im poor folk so ill stick to my SOHC boost!
