no clay- only a block guard- and this isnt a thread to bash the guard either. I didnt plan on having this as a daily driver.

Not a bad setup overall, alot of power is probbly left on the table with over comping your motor with CTR pistons, won't be able to be pulling much timing at all when tuning. Least on pump gas.
Your header is a huge bottleneck, my setup is more mild and a new good header opened up a ton of power over the whole band, junk the header and start looking for somthing better. Should run well get some dnyos up. What are you going to use for tuning?

Turboedit for now, then hondata later. I know the DC header sucks. And I'm using 104 octane in it. With the cometic headgasket, it dropped my compression from 13:1 to more like 12.6:1. I read about the CTR's after I had them already in so they had to stay. Plus the headgasket added more clearance for cam timing constraints. Not much, but a little.

I'm hoping for around 200whp, but with the V shaped domes on the CTR's I dont know. Dyno will be the judge of that. Thanks for being positive man. I'm excited to see it run. My buddy just made me a sick guage pod that fits in the heater grates above the radio too. Looks awesome. I'll post pics later.

Clay the motor means clay it for clearances.

I will ask the machine shop who did my block tomorrow. I lined the timing belt up and I'm not feeling anything hit when I rotated the assembly; I'm pretty sure we checked all clearances when we built the engine. The head is not milled and neither is the block. The extra .018" from the .044" headgasket gives me a little more clearance than the OEM .026" gasket but that doesnt say much. I was there for most of the build up, but I'm not an engine builder so I'd rather be safe than sorry. They are definitely getting a call.

I dunno man everybody in the all motor forum told me that that wouldn't work, and it would have smashed the valves. Again I have no real experience with it, but everyone told me it wouldn't work.

237whp, too. Thats just plain silly out of a non-ITB 1.8L. Makes me want to talk to portflow over the winter if this thing doesnt blow up or have too many problems.
