Deffinately go with the AEM EMS ! 10-30-10
It will let you keep your stock ECU and use all your stock sensors saving you $$ The only sensor you would need is the Map sensor that reads boost, they will also provide that. Price is of concideration $1300 but is well worth it, and you can installed and run without turbo or anything else you'll notice a big difference right of way. You must have someone proficient on tuning AEM. Unlimited settings will overide rev and speed limiters. I would not do any modifications with out it first.

The set up is descrived in detail the in link above by Red.EM2
As far as how ut drives? Is just like a normal civic AC works smoth shifting, the dual exhaust is deep and not too loud, that is till you step on the gas then it turns into a whole other animal.
