lol.....

Sorry guys.

These were designed for the d15 in mind. Pin height is correct for the d15's. The ones in the pics are 76mm and a little over 15:1 compression. These were made for my little d15 for this season while I finish up my f22 build.

I am also doing an 11:1 76mm set too.. Please PM me for very special pricing. As I dont think the mods would like me to post them here.

Thanks

Do you have a dyno of that car? I just can't see it making more than 170whp. Unless its making unheard of numbers, and weigh's less than 1800 with driver, I just can't imagine it.

I'm just kind of getting tired of these car's from florida and PR running really quick times and then saying "its just a simple setup". Either those tracks have horrible timing devices (we have one like that here in michigan) or there is more to the story.

Maybe its the ocean breeze that gets you guys down the track so quick.

180whp and running 12's, Can't underestimate the SOHC.

What's the weight on that car?

BTW, I wasn't trying to trying to knock you or anything in my previous post, just amazed by what the car does. Keep up the work.

bore is 76mm npr pm6 replacement pistons...i was gonna go p29 high comp but my girl daily drives this...
All new bearing main and rods
New oem oil pump and water pump as well as timing belt and fuel filter
OEM 3 layer d16y7 headgasket fits perfect for 76mm pistons
Aem cam gear and JG 4040 cam
Head is gonna be ported and all new oem seals replaced as well as a resurfaced and valve job intake is stock d16a6 port and polished with JG bored TB thermal intake gasket
ARP head studs
BM fuel reg and gauge
Transmission is stock gearing But i added a phatom grip lsd and some ZC equal length axles
Clutch set up is a EXEDY pressure plate with a custom 4 puck sprung with lighten stock flywheel to 13lbs
Tuning is gonna be OBD1 on crome right now the set up is running on a PG7 ecu 89 integra
Headers are some JDM SS 4 2 1 and piping is 2in from test pipe back
stock injectors should work but i also have some 315cc on stand by JUST in case as well as a after market fuel pump BUT since my girl daily drives this I'm trying to stay away from having to mess with the fuel part...

i'm hoping to make @ least 125 whp

Her last tune got 112 whp with her stock block port matched head intake and exhaust with jg TB and ported intake with thermal intake gasket and 3 layer headgasket with jg 4040 cam and gear dialed in on a pg7 integra ecu and BM fuel reg and gauge and stock fuel pump with 4 2 1 jdm header...

So with that being posted do you guys think 125whp is in my gasp???I just want her to be able to pull when she needs that little extra bump in power like getting of the freeway and what not i have some extra b16 motors i could put in her civic but I'm trying to SAVE and keep the SOHC alive...
im pretty sure you will hit your goal with that set-up. you'll be fine on stock injectors and fuel pump do dont trip.

What heat spark plugs are you high comp guys running? I'm going to be running =29's in my A6 soon so i'l be in the 11.1 - 11.5 area and want to know what heat plug to use? right now I have ngk plugs for a Y8 (I think there 10 heat but could be wrong).

10 is too much. are the stock Y8 that high? I though most hondas were just 5 or 6. For a daily driver, 7 or 8 is fine.

The NGK BKR8EIX is a perfect plug for you.

Maybe its just me but that thing looks like a brick. My 82mm Wiseco's weigh less than that. Any piston manufacturer can adjust pin height for a d15 and custom pistons are not all that expensive.

Real Piston Design found in this thread.

You are right. Any piston company can "Custom" make anything... Now it is not custom. They are on the shelf... I dont prefer wisecos myself unless its for my dirt bikes.. Not a fan of their auto applications

hi guys, all i can say is keep up the good work of making sohc fast. Does it cost alot, well lets over 3grand to make any d16 run low 12's/high 13 sec and also there a yellow crx that ran 12.7, how much did he spend on his setup. the reason i post in this thread is that some ppl think its a waste to build a d16's...........thanks
