I took it yesterday back to the dealer and they were able to get it working. Turns out the radio at some point had been replaced with another one and ther serial #'s did not match up. The tech had to retrieve the serial number from the radio which took over two hours to complete the job. However, it was worth the wait. Finally have sound in the car. Thanks for your help.

The dealership wants $125 with tax for the code that may or may not work. I'm a college student so dont get that kind of money to waste :D

So im thinking this is not the original radio , it was working before the batterie reset, let me know what can be done thanks

hey i just got a 00 acura tl with the stock radio but the bad thing is that is asking for a code wich i dont have can anybody give me a hand with this??? tthank's. the serial# is B00183802

if you guys have the serial code you should be able to go to the parts dept and get the code for free.. (i do it all the time)

it easy for some cars to retrieve a quick code what you need to do is to provide your VIN, serial number and in the next 5 seconde i will get it for you
