I'm sure it can be figured out in the reverse order as the topics in this thread, but I am confusing myself..
You'd need a 5mm thick sleeve (50mm ID and 55mm OD) around the strut. It would be a pointless venture, though.

Read the thread. Tie rod ends and the rear lower shock eye are different between the EP3/RSX. If you have an 02 EP3 the front strut holes (on the bottom) are also different diameter.

Incorrect. RSX's have, roughly, a 30 deg. bolt placement rotation on the hub-side of the rear LCA's.

Please re-read what I posted, as I was referring to the REAR lower control arms. I know the fronts are identical, as I have both.

EDIT: Here ya' go, bud.

I just installed TEIN N1 on my 04 civic. They are DC5 spec, they fit beautifully! FYI, for 04-05 civics, all you have to make sure is that you use the tie rods from a DC5, accordingly. For civics 01-03, you will have the crash bolt issue.
Hope this helps...

So this is a general consensus based on Boilermarker1 and I encountering the same problem.

If anybody does Koni/GC's and actually order's a GC application for the Civic, the rear springs they send are too small to seat properly.

You have to order RSX-S 6" rear springs. I don't know why GC just doesn't do this since I'm sure they've had several problems with this in the past.

I e-mailed Mark at Ground Control and he stated that yoparts was not an authorized distributor so I'd have to take it up with Tom directly.

So now I'm at a standstill.

You can get away with the standard springs...there's just not much travel. Just get GC's made for the RSX.

Default civic si tein flex = 02 lx??

okay so i know that 01-02 have 14mm bolts and 03-05 have 16mm bolts.. what would be needed to fit this in an 02 lx? and will it fit at all cause of the strut body sizing? 01-02=50mm 03-05=55mm
