Hey thanks!

I recently overheated at the track, probably blew a headgasket. Going tomorrow to do a compression test, car keeps heating up (not necessarily overheating) with these hot temps.

Oh and this is the setup.

dsm side mount
2 in charge piping
2.5 in downpipe (all i could fit)
3 in exhuast
msd 6al, blaster coil
dsm injectors
uber tuned for now, by me
Foster's oil can catch can

I went to the dyno last year, with a y7/y8 setup, but had issues, so 185 hp was not really true of my setup @ 15psi.

I did make a couple of trips to the strip though.

I went 13.4 my first time at 10 psi, went back and turned it up to 15 psi, and went 13.003 and a 13.004 @ 109 mph. This was on khumo street tires and a stock clutch. I was getting 60 fts. around 1.89 to 2.1

I have a act heavy duty and street disc now, but i really have built this car for road course track days, and i did one so far, it was in the rain, but still a blast, very controlable, no match to the m3's and all wheel drive cars, with traction control and abs, but none the less a blast.

I chose the D for cheapness, once i build one up fully, it won't have that cheapness factor though Right now i have the boost up to 17 psi, full stock, even head studs, i boosted 15 last fall for 3000 miles, so we'll see.

in my 90 hatch recently, my setup (stock a6 head, stock block, SRPs/eagles) made 254 whp/297 wtq @20-ish psi. best time on street tires is 13.1 @ 110, with a miss from 5-7k rpms. (car only weighs 2000 lbs)

the head isnt flowing the greatest, obviously, and the turbo is MAXED i think (t3, .48/.60), i'm putting together a t3/t4 though (.63/60-1), so it should do better.

custom manifold i built, custom rad/intercooler crossmember, smaller spearco 3'' thick "sidemount" intercooler, backdoor design(turbo aims striaght into IC), greddy type s, 255lph pump, deatsch werks injectors (new, i'm beta testing their first honda set-so smooth, so nice), 3'' dp, 3''-3.5'' exhaust.

haha! thanks man.

splitime and i retuned the new deatsch werks injectors last night.. so much nicer than my old 720's. smooth as silk, and seems to make more power up top too (diff. pintle design, 4 smaller holes, not just the one big pintle)

should be much more fun w/ new turbo.

they are coming out with them soon, as long as i put some nice miles on these and they work for a while. they have the same pintle design as new evo injectors. it would seem they would attomize better. the flow charts i got with them are very specific, and they are brand new cores, obd0 plugs, high impedence injectors.

Deatsch is big into nissan and subaru stuff, my brother is good buddies with the owners brother (who is the other employee at deatsch, maxima-turbogeek-moderator, etc) we used to go to the track with him when he lived in chicago, etc.

when he met me, he asked me if i wanted to try out a set if they made honda-compatible stuff. a few months later, they arrived.

Not necessarily if it's just filling up the reservoir. Usually if the headgasket is blown the coolant will blow all over the place out of the reservoir under boost. If it's just pushing into the reservoir and not blowing out he might just be running a little hot after a couple of hard pulls.
