Just what I need, more paint ideas! Thanks for making my brain work even harder to choose a paint color. Great thread, this needs to get sticked somewhere.

you're confused....that superior blue metallic was on usa cars aslo. ,, but only in 90 in canada..

"Superior Blue Metallic B-47M 1988-1991 (1990 Canadian only) " this just means in canada its was on the 90 only..

Nice post this will be helpful. Also would it be possible to separate the USDM, EDM, and JDM paint codes?

i'd like to see a pic of a Grayish Blue Metallic Clearcoat (b-35) car. if you look at the list all metallics end with "M" and pearls end with "P". b-35 doesn't fit into the pattern. also the name doesn't sound like a honda color. honda seems to have been creative when they named their colors and Grayish Blue Metallic doesn't seem like a name they would have picked. I don't think b-35 is a paint code.

Could it be right that they offered 8 different colors of blue in 1991?

I looked at Duplicolor's website, but it only goes back to 1994.

Apparently someone's information is incorrect.

Actually, it says:
1988 Honda Civic (USA Production)
Grayish Blue Metallic Clearcoat B-35M-3

But to note: the color chips, while not 100% accurate because of monitor capabilites, are the exact same RGB color (140, 166, 189) as Montreal Blue Met Clr.

Probably the same color, just mixed up in a database someplace.

In the drop down menu I selected just Civic, not USA Production Civic. I was thinking it would bring up all matches that way. I guess my logic was wrong. *shrug*
